The event was sponsored by Bording Vista and was organized by SQABD. It was held on August 27, 2008, at Washington Hotel, Gulshan-1.

As always, this event was for the software development professionals, that includes programmers, testers, project managers, quality analysts, program managers and others.

We had 170+ participants and as usual the organizers did a great job managing it. We all had a great time!

All the presenters had 5 minutes each for their presentations, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A. Here are the list of topics and the presenters at the event:

  • Being in one profession playing the roles of others. Presented by Sabina Islam (Dahlia), Test Engineer, Therap (BD) Ltd.

  • Words of Wisdom (a SQABD reserved slot). Presented by Fokhruz Zaman, Founder, Millennium Information Solution Ltd.

  • Scrum. Presented by Md. Mozammel Haque, Development Team Leader, Vantage.
